"It's always been about the skin"
If you really want to know, waxing is where we began but it’s always been about the skin.
My sister and I found that too many women of color have experienced the feeling of being a challenge to skin care professionals. We realized that this stigma comes from the miseducation and lack of desire to learn and understand how to treat all hair and skin types. That was a problem. Our goal was to create a space where women of color would come to expect a warm welcome, quality results and education from trained professionals that have centered their focus around clients specific skincare needs. We’ve always believed our clients deserve that kind of service…so we decided to make that the standard and not the exception.
